What it does
- Open a check on a table, or as takeout or delivery
- Course a check and fire each course when the room is ready
- Hold, send, re-fire; move a line to a different course
- Split, transfer a table, reassign the server mid-shift
- Comp or void with a manager PIN when the cashier lacks the right
- Refunds and returns, per line, with a reason
- Tip pooling and payroll export at the end of the shift
How it works
Every check is a stream of events rather than a row that gets overwritten, so the history of an argued bill is still there afterwards.
What it saves. An order taken once, on a screen, is an order nobody remakes for free.
