What it does

• Take a booking with party size, time and a table
• A covers view of the service before it starts
• Notes that follow the guest — allergy, anniversary, the regular who hates the door
• No-shows recorded against the guest, not forgotten
• The booking becomes the check when they sit down

How it works

A reservation and a table are the same object the floor plan already knows about, so seating a party is not re-entering it. The engine is built and the dining-room screen is what is still to come.

What it saves. A no-show costs you the cover. A booking with a number attached can be confirmed the morning of.
