We collect only the information needed to run our website and respond to you.

Information you provide to us

• Meeting bookings: when you schedule a consultation, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, company, and any notes you share about your project.
• Facebook Login: when you sign in to one of our applications with Facebook, we receive the profile information you authorise. See Facebook Login & Meta Apps for details.
• Email and other correspondence: when you contact us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: aggregated, anonymous information such as the pages visited, referring website, approximate country, browser, operating system, and device type.
• Server logs: our hosting infrastructure may record technical data such as IP address, request time, and user agent for security and reliability purposes.

We use the information we collect to:

• Schedule and hold consultations you request
• Create and manage your account when you sign in to our applications with Facebook Login
• Respond to your enquiries and provide information about our services and products
• Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
• Keep our website secure and prevent abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate this website. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

Some of our applications let you sign in using Facebook Login, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you choose to continue with Facebook, a Meta login dialog shows you exactly which information our app is requesting. You can review and decline optional permissions in that dialog, and we only receive what you approve.

How we handle Facebook data

• We use Facebook data only to provide the features of our app that you signed in to use
• We never receive or store your Facebook password
• We do not post to Facebook on your behalf, access your friends list, or read your messages
• We do not sell Facebook data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers
• We comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies

Removing app access

You can remove our app’s access at any time from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites. Removing access stops us from receiving new data from Facebook. To also delete the data we already hold, follow the data deletion instructions below.

Our website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless and do not identify individual visitors. When you open the Calendly booking window, Calendly may set its own cookies to make scheduling work; these are governed by Calendly’s cookie policy.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, though some features, such as booking a meeting, may not work properly without them.

We share personal information only in the following circumstances:

• With the service providers listed above, solely to operate our website and services
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or a government request
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Mangrove, our clients, or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as maintaining an ongoing business conversation, or as required by law. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

You can ask us to delete your account and all personal information associated with it, including any data received through Facebook Login. To make a request:

1. Email contact@mangroveitsoftware.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”.
2. Include the name and email address on your account, and the app you signed in to, so we can locate your data.
3. We will confirm your request and permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep it.

You can also remove our app from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, then contact us as above to delete data we have already collected.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Ask us to delete your personal information
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your information
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Our website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
